-I think the poet wrote this poem to thank people for all that they have done and that they need to always keep going in life. The author's purpose is to encourage people to keep going in life and to follow their passion and dreams.The author is trying to convey or help you understand that you should always keep going and to thank you for all that we have done to help them make their dreams come true.
