Almost 60 million people – more than one-fifth of the total population of the United States – are immigrants or the children of immigrants. 

Immigration is an ingredient for economic growth ; with the immigration the country is going to have more population and a a result more consumption of goods or services of the market.

policy that shielded from deportation hundreds of thousands of immigrants brought to the United States as children. The policy had started under President Obama in 2012. It had allowed undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as children to avoid deportation if they met certain conditions.

This was an exemplar program that brought/gave protection to the youth that arrived at America and had a successful and excellent high school grades; this program protected them against the deportation.

Is understandable that sometimes deportations are necessaries because the country is trying to keep him safe of some dangerous or problematic people. But not everybody is a criminal.
