I know credit cards is help you save one.. a small plastic card issued by a bank, business, allowing the holder to purchase goods or services on credit.

A credit card is a card issued by a financial company giving the holder an option to borrow funds, usually at point sale .Credit cards charge interest and are primarily used for short-term financing . Interest usually begins one month after a purchase is made, and borrowing limits are pre-set according to the individual's credit .

A credit card can used to make purchases, reduce the cost of expensive debt or to earn rewards and cashback. It is essentially a type of loan, where the money you spend on your card is borrowed from a lender, such as a bank or building society. Interest is added to the amount you spend if you do not clear your balance at the end of each month.

How credit cards workWhen you apply for a credit card, you apply to borrow money from the card issuer, usually a bank. The issuer will look at your credit history before it accepts your application – and if you have a low credit score you could be refused credit, or perhaps given a less attractive deal.If all is well, the bank will set a credit limit, which is the maximum amount you can spend on the card. The card company will send you a statement every month, detailing the transactions on the card, plus the amount owing. It will also provide details on the minimum payment you need to make and the payment due date.

I know that you can get credit card in order to purchase whatever you want but then you have to pay back monthly. And they give you a certain amount of money to spend. Yes I do want to have a credit car in order to buy things I can afford and being able to pay back, but then you have to control what you're spending. And if you make a small purchase on the card every month and pay the bill on time and in full, you'll be able to build a positive credit history. And you must be at least 18 to apply for a credit card.

With this type of plastic, an auto draft from your checking account is occurring when you swipe your card. You’re using your own funds to pay for your items on the spot, so there’s no borrowing involved and no bill to settle at the end of the month.

Credit card, or credit, is an agreement between you and a financial group, such as a bank, that you will pay them back in the future so that you can buy something now. The financial group lends you the money you need and in return expects you to pay them back over a period of time. You will be required to pay the entire amount you spent plus a small additional fee, called an interest rate if you do not pay your balance in full and on time each month. For example, you want to buy a new TV in time for a Super Bowl party at your house. The TV you want costs $1,000. However, you can’t afford to spend $1,000 on a new TV all at once. Credit allows you to buy that TV today, in time for your party, and then pay it off over time in whatever amounts you can afford. In the end, the TV will cost you more than $1,000 when you add in the finance charges.
