My session is all about Teacher Leasdees and Cosching. I got a summary/magazine based on coaching research. We actually have a pretty solid research based structure in place. Our model is new to all of us and we are learning along the way. One thing that resonated with me was, “how can coaches hold themselves accountable for the performance of their teachers and students their teachers serve”. Another concept was creating a go to strategy bank of video clips and articles that coaches can quickly give to teachers for a specific skill. If these are consistent across the building it could be cool.

Students actually create their own schedules based on their need to complete a real world project with the aid of a community partnership. Hard to get your mind around, but all students coming from all walks of life. Focussed on equity and judgement.

I thought this was interesting. Once a teacher has been coached on their strengths they saod that then they have bought in and are more willing to work on their weaknesses.
