I'm meeting with 14 teacher leaders in the school. The teachers are responsible for spreading the knowledge within their grade. I loved how this 2nd grade teacher took the information and tailored it to meet the needs of her team. Many of my primary teachers are still learning about technology for their use, instead of student use. We are slowing moving into integrating technology into the primary classrooms. This week we practiced creating a new google Doc, Slide, and Sheet. A co-teacher of mine helped me model collaboratively editing a google slide for the primary teachers. They learned to share their classroom lessons and other tools through google drive. We meet with teachers twice a month and are available to collaborate with teachers to plan and model instruction and learning activities. Last month, we explored Google Classroom, creating assignments, grading assignments, Google Forms, grading in Google Forms, and introduced Flubaroo. Next month we plan on exploring Flubaroo, Screencastify, creating videos, and GoFormative.
