I liked the experience more than I thought, having done it a second time now, because being in a reserve like that with nobody around felt like I was living in an apocalyptic world. It looked like a genuine wasteland, and there were no animals to be seen or heard either. I enjoyed the empty, lonely vibe of the reserve for something different. Like I said the first time around, I don't take in or appreciate the natural world enough, so it was good to go out in to the reserve without a required destination. Just looking, feeling, hearing and smelling different things. My favourite photo of the lot would probably be the picture taken from ground level with the empty bottle in focus.
