Hope you like it

(Don't mind the other things)

With boots too thin for winter’s bite,
They greeted dawn before the light,
Eyes still full of dreams and play,
Yet called to work, not run away.

In factories loud with clanging time,
Or narrow lanes where shadows climb,
They learned too soon what grown-ups knew:
That bread was earned, not simply due.

Yet even there, by candle’s gleam,
They stitched their hopes into a dream—
A paper kite, a rhyme half-said,
A story living in their head.

Though history turns its heavy page,
Their voices echo through the age:
A quiet strength, a will to be,
Victorian children—brave and free.

I hear drums.

I smell flowers.

I touch play dough.

I taste lemon.

we smell the orange

we taste apple

we touch our sock puppet

• I can feel slime. ✋

• I can taste candy. 👅

• I can see colours. 👀

• I can hear music. 👂

• I can smell flowers. 👃

• Also, on this holiday,

• I felt snow. ❄️

• I tasted my grandma’s food. 🍲

• I saw happy children. 😊

• I heard Christmas carols. 🎶

• I smelled my grandma’s cake. 🥮

Dear Diary,

Today was another long day at the mill. I woke up before the sun came up because I had to be at work by 5 o’clock. My hands were still sore from yesterday, but I didn’t want to be late again. The overseer gets angry if we are even a minute behind.

Inside the factory it was hot and very noisy. The machines never stop, and I have to squeeze between them to pick up the loose threads. I try to be careful, but the machines move so fast. My friend Tom got his finger caught last week, and he hasn’t been back since.

We only had one short break, and I ate the bread Mother packed for me. It was hard and a bit stale, but I was so hungry I didn’t mind. When the bell rang at the end of the day, my legs felt like jelly. I was tired, but I was glad to be going home.

Sometimes I wish I could go to school like other children, but Mother says we need the money..

Maybe a miracle will happen someday...

MARS ROVER OPPORTUNITY

it broke a world record for exploring mars for 15 years (2004 2018) scientists said the mars rover is only staying at mars for 90 days but instead of that it stayed for 15 years.

A martian storm descended the rover and it camera was covered in dirt and it battery was getting low so it send it last word and dies in peace R.I.P

Many Victorian children were poor and did not have enough food or warm clothes. Their homes were often cold and crowded. School was strict, and some children were punished if they made mistakes. Even though life was hard, Victorian children still tried to help their families and be brave.
