Belief in Allah</p><p>- Believe that Allah is One, with no partners.</p><p>- Have full faith in His perfect attributes (e.g. All-Knowing, Almighty).</p><p>- Example:Worship only Allah, avoid all forms of shirk (associating partners).</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>2. Belief in the Angels</p><p>- Angels are created from light, never disobey Allah, don’t eat or sleep.</p><p>- Each has specific duties (e.g. Jibreel – revelation, Raqib &amp; Atid – record deeds).</p><p>- Example: Be mindful of our actions, knowing angels are recording them.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>3.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p><strong>BELIEF IN RASUL AND ANBIYA’ (THE MESSENGERS AND THE PROPHETS )</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Introduction</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Messengers were sent to every nation with the same religion (Islam).</p></li><li><p>All prophets stand equal; believing in some but denying others makes one a disbeliever.</p></li><li><p>In Islam, faith in all prophets is compulsory.</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Definition of Belief in Rasul</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Firm belief that Allah sent messengers to every nation, calling them to Tawhid (worship Allah alone).</p></li><li><p>Belief that all messengers were truthful, trustworthy, virtuous, and conveyed Allah’s message completely.</p></li><li><p>Belief in authentic reports narrated from the messengers.</p></li><li><p>Following the law of the Final Prophet, Muhammad ﷺ, who was sent to all mankind.</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Prophets and the Message of Tawhid</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>All prophets brought the same message: worship Allah alone.</p></li><li><p>Obedience to the Prophet is obedience to Allah; disobedience to the Prophet is disobedience to Allah.</p></li><li><p>Prophets are united on Tawhid, and their religion is one,</p></li></ul><p><br>QURAN PHRASE : </p><p>‫مَّن یُطِعِ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدۡ أَطَاعَ ٱللَّهَۖ وَمَن تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَفِیظࣰا﴿ </p><p>• Abdullah Muhammad Basmeih:</p><p>Sesiapa yang taat kepada Rasulullah, maka sesungguhnya ia telah taat kepada Allah; dan sesiapa yang berpaling ingkar, maka (janganlah engkau berdukacita wahai Muhammad), kerana Kami tidak mengutusmu untuk menjadi pengawal (yang memelihara mereka dari melakukan kesalahan).</p><p>An-Nisāʾ, Ayah 80</p><p><br></p><p><strong>BELIEF IN THE HEREAFTER</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Definition of Belief in the Hereafter</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Life in this world will end on the appointed day – al-Qiyamah (Last Day).</p><p>2. All humans will be resurrected – al-Hashr (Resurrection).</p><p>3. Everyone’s record of deeds will be presented for judgment.</p><p>4. The virtuous will be rewarded, and wrongdoers will face punishment.</p><p>5. The successful will enter Paradise, while the condemned will go to Hell</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Significance of Belief in the Hereafter</strong></p><p><br></p><p>1. Brought by all Prophets – every Prophet emphasized belief in life after death.</p><p>2. Makes people consider consequences – humans naturally weigh benefits and harms of actions.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Effects of Belief in the Last Day</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>1. Demonstrates Allah’s greatness and attributes.</p><p>2. Increases love for meeting Allah – the greatest joy in Paradise will be seeing Allah.</p><p>3. Establishes fear of Allah – awareness that nothing is hidden from Him.</p><p><br></p><p>Quranic phrase :</p><p><br></p><p>‫یَوۡمَ هُم بَـٰرِزُونَۖ لَا یَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِنۡهُمۡ شَیۡءࣱۚ لِّمَنِ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَۖ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠حِدِ ٱلۡقَهَّارِ﴿ ١٦ ﴾‬</p><p>• Abdullah Muhammad Basmeih:</p><p>Iaitu hari mereka keluar (dari kubur masing-masing) dengan jelas nyata; tidak akan tersembunyi kepada Allah sesuatupun dari hal keadaan mereka. (Pada saat itu Allah berfirman): "Siapakah yang menguasai kerajaan pada hari ini? (Allah sendiri menjawab): "Dikuasai oleh Allah Yang Maha Esa, lagi Yang Mengatasi kekuasaanNya segala-galanya!</p><p>Ghāfir, Ayah 16</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>4. Encourages good deeds – motivates believers to act righteously.</p><p>5.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p><strong>Ihsan (Religious Excellence)</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Definition: Ihsan means doing good, beautifying actions, and striving for perfection. Technically, it is to worship Allah as if you see Him; if not, know that He sees you.</p></li><li><p>Hierarchy: Islam → Iman → Ihsan (highest level). A Muḥsin (person of Ihsan) is above a Mu’min and a Muslim.</p></li><li><p>Scope: Not limited to worship but extends to dealings with people, animals, and the environment. Ihsan requires going beyond justice (ʿadl) to benevolence and excellence.</p></li><li><p>In Qur’an &amp; Hadith:<br></p><ul><li><p>Allah commands justice and Ihsan (16:90).</p></li><li><p>Good treatment of parents (17:23–24).</p></li><li><p>Hadith Jibril defines Ihsan.</p></li><li><p>Hadith on slaughter shows even acts like killing/slaughtering must be done with Ihsan.<br></p></li></ul></li><li><p>Impact: Shapes personal morality, strengthens worship, improves social interactions, and brings Allah’s love.</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Islamic Eschatology (Afterlife Belief)</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Definition: From Greek eschatos (last) + logia (discourse). In Islam, it refers to al-Ākhirah (the Hereafter).</p></li><li><p>Core Belief: Life after death, resurrection (ḥashr), and the Day of Judgment (Qiyāmah).</p></li><li><p>Significance:<br></p><ul><li><p>One of the six pillars of faith.</p></li><li><p>Denial of afterlife = disbelief (kufr).</p></li><li><p>Explains moral necessity: since this world doesn’t fully reward/punish actions, the Hereafter ensures justice.<br></p></li></ul></li><li><p>In Qur’an &amp; Hadith:<br></p><ul><li><p>Allah owns heavens &amp; earth (2:107).</p></li><li><p>Believers promised paradise (4:57, 4:69).</p></li><li><p>Disbelievers destined for Hell (3:10–12).</p></li><li><p>Hadith Jibril mentions the Hour and its signs (slave-girl giving birth to mistress, barefoot herdsmen competing in tall buildings).</p><p><br><br></p></li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Relationship Between Ihsan &amp; Eschatology</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><p>Both appear together in Hadith Jibril, highlighting them as fundamentals of Islam.</p></li><li><p>Ihsan motivates a believer to fulfill obligations excellently and strive for perfection.</p></li><li><p>A person with Ihsan feels Allah’s constant presence (murāqabah), leading to sincerity, obedience, and earning Allah’s pleasure.</p></li><li><p>Ihsan strengthens hope for Paradise, aligning actions with the reality of the Afterlife.</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Conclusion</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Islam is holistic: rules + continuous self-improvement.</p></li><li><p>Ihsan refines worship, morality, and social life.</p></li><li><p>Eschatology emphasizes accountability, justice, and eternal destiny.</p></li><li><p>Together, they guide Muslims towards Allah’s mercy, peace in society, and ultimate success in Paradise.</p></li></ul><p><br></p>]]></description>
