Oak Island and Freemasons
There is a belief that Oak Island and freemasons have a link. The strange marking and symbols indicate signs which represent evidence of Mason's rituals clearly on Oak Island.
This article relates to proof by verbosity because there is a lot of information that I can't absorb all of it. The reason for a belief to this theory is ideology because people connect things to other beliefs and set of ideas.

Oak Island mystery
The treasure hunt was discovered by Daniel McGinnis in 1795 in Oak Island, Nova Scotia, when he saw a depression in the ground. He called his friends and started to dig down to solve the mystery and after a long excavation got nothing, but a stone with mysterious writing.
This article gives a brief introduction to the money pit and the incidents happened to them during each excavation. Six people lost their life money pit have been under the excavation from more than two hundred years.

The reason for this belief is unexplained. There are many theories related to the money pit which give us the ideology behind this.

This video proposses a few different theories how the treasure moved to Oak Island and the men made tunnels under the oak island. The information in this video is overwhelming for me as a viewer. According to the video Martin Frobisher is the person who hid the treasure.
The red flag related to this video is proof by verbosity that makes complicated for viewer. The reason for belief is un explained.

This video proposes some logical reasons, that there is no treasure buried on the oak Island. The presenter gives a brief overview of points and tries to prove that there is no treasure on the Oak Island.
This is a series of videos, in which the person, Sean Munger, who is a history teacher and has a thorough knowledge about this topic, tries to prove that there is no treasure on the Oak Island and it is a hoax.

This picture indicates the position of the boulders found on the Oak Island by the landowner and treasure hunter, Fred Nolan in the early 90s which make up Nolan’s cross on Oak Island. These large boulders formed a shape look like a Christian holly cross.

The reason for belief associated with this is patternicity and confirmation bias. People find meaningful patterns according to their beliefs. Another belief is confirmation bias, they only see things which confirm their belief. The red flag associated with this is the ideological support which is linked to religious beliefs.

Oak Island and Star of Wisdom
According to this website, astronomers predicted that a star will appear on the Oak Island and it's believed that the star could have biblical proportions. In this article, a researcher Betty McKaig claimed a link between constellation Cygnus and its tail star Deneb to Oak Island through astronomical alignment, but it also creates half of the Kabbalistic Tree of life which is the central mystical symbol in Judaism.
A reason for belief linked to this article is Ideolog because it linked to religious belief and red flag related to this website is Ancient Wisdom. people tend to believe stars and numerology from ancient times.

This image shows the copy of that stone found in the money pit. The first translation of this writing that was offered by Reverend A.T. Kempton in 1949. According to this, there is money buried “forty feet below two million pounds are buried”. Now researchers have introduced the new possible meaning of this monument. The red flag related to this stone is Ancient Wisdom and the reason for belief is unexplained.

This video demonstrates that the treasure will not be found until seven people have died, so until now only six people have died. Another thing, is that the treasure can’t be found until there's the last oak tree left on this land. The red flag to this belief could be confirmation bias, people naturally believe paranormals, while ignoring the fact that there is no treasure. The reason for belief for this is agenticity, people assume meanings and belief these superstitious things.
