-        ‘Who is there?’

-        ‘It’s me, Molly.’

 

Lion Molly, her best friend, is at the door. And Elly happily opens the door.

 

“Elly, aren't you ready yet?”asks Molly in a hurry. 

"Ready for what?" asks Elly with a shock on the face. 

Molly: ‘How don’t you remember, Elly?’ ‘Today is Turtle Bertil’s birthday!’  

‘But, the party is at 6 pm and we still have time’ replies Elly. 

Molly: "Yes, but you know Turtle Bertil is the slowest animal of this forest and he gets ready very slowly. We have to go there early and help him to prepare foods.’ 

 

‘You're right!’ says Elly, and quickly goes inside to get ready. "Don't forget to take your gift with you’’ warns Molly and sets off to the Turtle Bertil's cotton candy house. 

 

While he is going there, he dances by himself and sings his favorite song all the way long. 

'Oompa Chaka chaka ha! King of the jungle I’m a lion!
Oompa Chaka chaka ha! Everyone is scared of me!
Gigantic feet, big strong teeth,
Courageous and very strong… King of the beasts, I’m a lion! '

     He sees a tree and its branches are made of cotton. This tree feels so comfortable that he immediately climbs it and decides to have a rest. He closes his eyes and begins to dream. Hours passes without realizing it.

      Meanwhile, Elly tries to pack her gift, pink skateboard for Turtle Bertil. 

     ‘It will be a wonderful evening, Bertil will love this gift very much because pink is his favorite colour, that's why his house is made of pink cotton candy. What is more, with this skateboard, Turtle Bertil will get to his destination quickly and never get tired’ she thinks.

Elly, also puts the note on the present that she prepares for Bertil. Before leaving the house, she looks at the mirror and likes her pink dress for the last time. She closes the door and sets off for the Turtle Bertil's birthday party at his cotton candy house.

“I was walking with Panda Hunny to come to Bertil the Turtle's birthday party. While we were chatting, we found ourselves at the bottom of the pit. We looked around to get out of the pit. We called out, but no one heard us until you came. We saw that there was a big black door here. We were scared, we stayed away from the door. Could you please help us? “Of course we can help,” said Zummy. They tied the vines together and turned them into ropes. They handed Tommy and Hunny the rope. However, Elly was very curious about the door Tommy was talking about. To his other friends, “Shall we look at the door?” she asked. Although Zummy was a little scared at first, then they all wanted to look at the door. They tied the rope they had made before to a tree and went down with the help of the rope. Now all the friends were in the pit. They approached the door in wonder and fear. Molly took the flashlight from her pocket and pointed it at the door. They saw that there was an inscription on the door. Above the door was written " IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY, ENTER THROUGH THIS DOOR". After reading this article, their curiosity increased even more. Encouraging each other, they opened the door.

 

“Hey friends! I can see a sign over there! It says : ‘IF YOU WANT TO OPEN THE DOOR YOU HAVE TO SAY THE FOLLOWING PHRASE : ABATE KABATE BONI BOUND I HAD A GREAT TIME IN THIS PLAYGROUND’!” 

And so it happened and the door opened for Elly and her friends to come out.

All the animals felt absolutely relieved but exhausted at the same time after such an adventure.

“Well, my friends, I can remember I have some delicious ice cream left in my fridge! Would you like to come by to eat it all together? I think we really deserve it!”

The rest of the animals felt really excited and directly agreed to visit Elly and so they made their way along the path. 

They were all standing in front of Elly’s hut now while she was opening the door.

“Oh no!” Elly screamed in despair. While she had been getting ready for Bertil’s party she forgot the bath tap running and now the hut was flooded. All the furniture and the appliances were floating while Elly was crying desperately.

Her friends lost no more time! Elly was always there for them in any difficult situation they had to face. And now it was high time they returned her love and generosity. 

 

Pink, blue, red, green balloons… 

Toys, dough, colorful paints, slides, swings, balls, intelligence games… 

It was a very nice playground. 
Elly started playing with the dough. Foggy was swinging on the swing. Zummy was painting. Tommy and Hunny were playing chess very ambitious. They played games for hours. Tommy: Guys, I'm so hungry. Shall we get out of here now? 

Elly: You're right Tommy 

They all started walking towards the door. 
In the front was Panda Hunny, she held the door and pulled it to herself, the door did not open. She tried to push the door, it still wouldn't open. 

Hunny: Guys, this door won't open. I think we will stay here forever. 

and says "Elly you have to tell them, they need you. All of them are in danger, but they dont know"

Them   she felt a strong blow on her back, and a instantly woke up and looked up and she see...

 

 

'It’s making my lovely pink dress smell of fried oil and stale fries,‘ she wrinkled her nose.

'I can smell it too, said Molly frowning. 

'It makes my royal mane smell of tree-weeks old packed lunch, bleh! Wheeeeere oh wheeere is it coming it from???'
'Why, Heavens to Betsey,‘ cried out Turtle Bertil, this will make my lovely cotton candy house turn into a disgusting mush, oooooh my lovely cotton candy house!
'I’m right on it! Agreed Barbara and flew out to fulfill her mission.

'First the road through the forest and now this! We need to meet with Marina and Orfeas again, croaked Foggy from her blow-up kiddie pool. She spitted out a straw from her mouth and, cool as a cucumber, she made a very loud sound:

'Ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit‘ until she summoned Barbara the Bat.

'Please fly out a tell Marina and Orfeas there’s something stinking to high heavens in this forest, and turning our home into a dumpster.‘

'Oh drama, drama.....what I wouldn’t give for a huge chunk of a sweet milk chocolate with lovely chunks of caramel inside...........‘ sighted Elly.

 'Me too,' sighted Molly with Bertil, 'but first we have to find the source of this awful smell.'

In the meantime, Barbara the bat had already arrived in the town where Orfeas and Marina have been living. They were enjoying their lollipops outside school. As soon as the children found out that the animals were troubled about the nasty smell in the forest, they asked Barbara to take them there.
Marina was quick to realise that it was her chance to return the good deed of the lion to her father.
-Let’s all go  to the factory to see what is realy happening , Marina said and they set off.
The  huge rubbish pile was now straight ahead. Marina knew exactly what to do.  It was the time her Grandma’s magic diary would provide the solution. She now remembered her Grandma’s own words :
“Marina, everything you write in this diary will take place in real life, as long as it’s for a good cause “.
So she opened her bag, took the diary out in a hurry and wrote down :
“My dear diary, please remove all this awful rubbish from my friends’ forest”
No sooner had she finished writing the phrase than the trash pile was replaced by a beautiful  flower garden in full bloom.
The animals were excited again. However, the strong noise behind the factory had not come to an end…

Zummy have an idea: 

- I'll stretch my neck as far as I can, and see what happens. 

Everyone agreed, but said: 

- Be carefully!...
Zummy stretched and stretched and stretched some more and saw what was happening... 

the factory was a paper mill and what you could hear were trucks arriving loaded with paper that the townspeople put on the cardboard.
