Upon researching, Jonathan Kozol's 'Savage Inequalities: Children in America’s Schools' highlighted that this issue is a global societal concern, driven significantly by economic, geographic, racial, and ethnic factors.

Firstly, economically disadvantaged students face limited access to educational support and often drop out of school for employment, a longstanding issue addressed by some philanthropic efforts but requiring broader societal intervention.

Secondly, regional disparities between urban and rural areas, as well as developed and developing countries, exacerbate educational gaps due to variations in educational facilities, teachers, and programs.

Furthermore, racial and ethnic factors, evident not only in Korea but globally, contribute to disparities through discrimination and language barriers.

Additionally, students with disabilities often experience discrimination in education, mainly due to insufficient support for students with disabilities or a lack of understanding about special education, which are societal issues. I've encountered video materials depicting conflicts between those opposing and those advocating for the establishment of special schools even during creative experiential activities aimed at promoting awareness about disabilities. This has led me to realize that such issues are not isolated but can occur anytime in our surroundings.

Addressing these diverse factors necessitates both societal and individual efforts.
