         <description><![CDATA[<div>Without much prior knowledge as to how the senses worked, both independently and cooperatively, we wanted to find out if we impacted one of the sense, how the other ones would react. Already impacting one of the sense (eyesight), as we didn't want our subjects to be able to see the different colors and correlate them to the different flavors of the jelly bean. We figured that hearing and touch wouldn't impact the way that our subject tasted the different jellybeans. So with already using the mouth as the way that they were going to test the different jelly beans, we decided to pinch the nose so that we would be able to see if the difference, if there was one at all, impacted how accurate they were in guessing the different flavors.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In our experiment, we used six different flavors of jelly beans: cherry, orange, strawberry, lemon, green apple, and grape. First we gave a single participant a random jelly bean and asked them to pick one of the six flavor we told them. They repeated this 5 times, while washing their mouth out in between. After that, they ate 5 more jelly beans but this time they had their nose pinched. But still rinsing their mouth out in between. Throughout this entire experiment we recorded whether they guessed the correctly, and overall  their accuracy of correctness with their nose open and with their nose closed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As seen in the bar graph the accuracy level among the participants was much higher when their nose wasn't pinched, than when their nose was pinched. To be specific when there nose wasn't pinched they were able to accurately guess 51% of the jelly beans tasted. While with their nose pinched they were only able to accurately guess 19% of the tasted jelly beans. Proving it is a lot easier to taste with your nose open rather than pinched.<br><br></div>]]></description>
