The breakdown by day and then step by step through the lesson are engaging and got me thinking how Google Sites might be a great option for our Gender Studies course. The lab report was a good activity requiring students to fill in the blank and not just read. The inclusion of the rubric for peer and feedback is always a good for reflection before submitting as often students see elements they might need to fix in their own work. I might suggest having a self reflection aspect also. Therefore, I will not explore that platform however, I love the idea of having more student feedback. 
Like Lesley, I too like the idea of self refection at the end of a unit. 
With me, I like to have students working in pairs or groups at the start of a unit to increase student's interest in the unit. 
I have a Doodly software I would like to use in my teaching. This course will be a great place to try it out.

I use Google classroom as well and find it very user-friendly and easy to navigate- I create  standard rubrics when I create assignments and didn't realize that in Google classroom, there is a flexibility around how rubrics can  be created.

I like Google sites for their ability to make things distinct yet attractive. The idea of a new page per day is quite easy for students to keep track of their work. I'm not always a fan of embedding a "doc" in a smaller window as this can be a challenge to view, depending on the machine you are using. I would much rather have that document open 'full screen' or be posted in with the actual Google Classroom entry. This would permit all documents to be located in the same place. 
Finally I do enjoy limiting the number of various sites and applications used as this requires more engagement and accessibility at the start of the course, so limiting your access to the Google Suite will make integration seamless. A really good idea for some kind of experiential learning but also just a great way to get students moving a little bit. We've all spent a lot of time on computers so I thought that was a great idea. 

Lessons are laid out really well. The images are eye catching, imagine that would help engage students. Lots of variety in terms of methods of delivering information too. Mixture of FlipGrid, JamBoard, embedded videos, Parlay was very cool. 

Good formatting and the expectations for the lessons/assessments were very clear. Quantifiable nature of the rubric is helpful. Helps students understand  how marks/grades are assessed. 

Big fan of Google Classroom. It's so easy to create docs for each student and I find it makes providing timely feedback really easy.

The Peer Assessment was interesting and I'd love to know more about that. To be honest, I don't use them very much (just peer editing stuff in English) and I'd be interesting in hearing other's experiences. Do you find they work well? Has anyone encountered any real problems when using them?
