         <title>Discovering the patient pathway for recurrent cancer.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;In order to provide qualified post cancer follow up programmes in general practice, we need more evidence on the patient pathway for recurrent cancer.<br>2)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Research in the diagnostic route for cancer recurrence is challenging, since registration of cancer recurrence in&nbsp; the patient registries is unsystematic and incomplete.<br>3)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Using Danish national patient registries, we will develop a method to identify patients with recurrent cancer, hence enable research in the diagnostic route to cancer recurrence.</div>]]></description>

Further, nearly half of all newly diagnosed cervical cancers in Denmark are found among under-screened women.<br>&nbsp;<br>2. This study will evaluate the effect on participation in the Danish screening program of offering a HPV self-sampling kit to non-participants&nbsp; compared with the standard second reminder for routine screening.&nbsp;<br><br>3.This study will provide important evidence if  and how HPV self-sampling can be used to increase participation rate in the Danish screening program, and thereby reduce the number of deaths caused by cervical cancer.</div>]]></description>
