Hey everyone! After watching that documentary in class about space exploration, I can’t help but think there’s got to be some form of life out there. I mean, the universe is MASSIVE! We’ve barely scratched the surface with our knowledge. Maybe not green aliens, but microorganisms or some unique life forms on distant planets? It just feels too egocentric to think we’re the only ones here.

Honestly, the thought of being alone in the universe is kinda scary to me. But then again, so is the idea of aliens existing. There’s a theory called the Fermi Paradox which basically asks: if there’s a high chance of extraterrestrial life, where is everyone? Maybe civilizations self-destruct before they can reach out? Or maybe they’re just too far away? It’s all so mind-boggling.

I read this article the other day about the Drake Equation, which is this formula scientists use to estimate the number of active civilizations in our galaxy. And, based on that, there could be thousands of civilizations! But I guess the real question is, even if they exist, will we ever get to meet them? Or maybe we’re just not ready yet… What do you guys think?
