When planning my final image I had a specific theme that was 'bright lighting'. I chose this theme as it corresponded well with my sequin collection I had chosen to use, and it also represents the edgy, party girls that wear Motel Rocks. For my final video I had planned to film it myself, however due to work I only had one night free, and that evening it was raining. Therefore, I wasn't able to film so I had to think of another plan so that my film was still original, showed my chosen theme and also had the right balance of being fun, and professional. Given that Motel Rocks have produced a Look Book for their party collection I decided to use these images to add effects, transitions and music, to create a short advert/film. I wanted the over all look to be quite rugged, urban and quirky as I feel this is Motel Rocks target audience.

I chose this digital image over the other illustration I created as I felt it related more to my previous research and also represented my theme better. Over all I feel my final image could have been a lot better if I was able to film it myself, so it could of been a video rather than animation. I am pleased with the effects and alterations I have made to the images, as I think it makes it fun and unique. This video would be good as an advertisement for their website or social media ie. Instagram, as the clips posted on instagram are restricted to 15 seconds. If I was to do this again I would make sure I allowed myself more time to film and be more prepared so that I was more satisfied with the Final Outcome.

To see final video click play and it will enlarge:

As my final piece didn't go to plan I wanted to create more than one final animation so that I had options over which one I preferred. Although I was pleased with the outcome for this, I didn't think it related to Motel Rocks as much as my Final one. I like the lighting effects on the skirt and the textures created, however it is very limited and lacked individuality and edge.
