a magician his father once watched wherein he was astounded 
 by the tricks the magicians had. He was born into a family 
victimized by poverty. His father works different jobs, his 
   mother takes care of his young sister who suffers from 
 cerebral palsy, and his father's aging mother who lives in 
   the upstairs of their home whilst also suffering from diabetes and pancreatic cancer. Though amongst the problems 
 thrown upon him, his unique and hopeful personality still  
                shines amidst the darkness. 

  Magnifico then eventually helps is family; he helped his  
  love-strucked brother, he helped his sister with 
  her longing to know more and experience more about the    
 world, and finally helping her grandmother with her future   burial. In spite of all, faith seems to have another plan.

But sadly life is indeed unfair because even if you do the right things to others if it is your time then it will be. no matter how good or bad you are. unlike in some international movies, this movie hits differently and it shows alot about Philippines and how people are living on it like. It is really hard to get money in order to buy food or necessities and even if they are poor they will do everything just to get some money. you can see it in Magnifico that even in the young age he learns how to do chores or how to do works to get income so that he can support his family.

So over all it is a good movie and has full of lessons in life that each and everyone of us should watch.

 The bad aspects of the film is the time that Magnifico's older brother planned to love a woman just for her money, the second is that Magnifico's mother treated their grandmother. even if you say that his mother is kind, she should never treat a elderly like that, especially since she’s not even a blood relative, the last one is the death of Magnifico. I can assure you that almost all viewers never saw it coming, so for us those are the bad aspects of the movie because that's the only thing that happened a bit ugly.
