A lepidopterist, who studies butterflies as professional, would be invited to the classroom. Alternatively, children could also visit the workplace of the lepidopterist to have a field experience.

The plan of guest expert session, which is ideally to be arranged in the workplace of the lepidopterist, allow children to have a closer observation and obtain profession knowledge about the topic. According to the HDLH, " designing indoor and outdoor environments and experiences that spark curiosity, invite investigation, and provide challenges that are responsive to individual capabilities to help children extend the boundaries of their learning" (HDLH, 2014, p.37) Children are able to engage fully in the caterpillar's living environment, develop their sense of belonging to the nature world. ]]> 2022-04-10 02:52:50 UTC https://padlet.com/hting5/z5g6r24mbz8d4c0a/wish/2137744056
