My grandma has strong Jewish ties which I find interesting and love to learn about. I love learning more about my ancestors and their journey and Scotland. Just recently I got an ancestry DNA kit done and I am 36% Scottish, which somehow is more than almost everyone in my family. My mom is a single mom and has done everything on her own for my sister and me since I was about 2 years old. My grandparents helped her raise us and I saw them nearly every day. People often say I have an old soul, and I believe I have my grandparents to thank for that.
