We should not make assumption that the child is "stupid" when his learning is slow. 2. a teacher's impacts a child much more than he/she knows. it is important that a teacher learns to slow down, to be in tune with the child's interests, needs and strengths.

3. it is definitely difficult and time consuming. but pt. 2 seems to be the only way to help a child realise his/her own potential, to the best that the child can do. I think teachers should still strive to do it.

In Singapore, many children are having Dyslexia but not many parents pay attention to it. Educarers have to pay special attention to Dyslexia children in order not to let children develop low self-esteem. Parents have to be supportive. Peers have to learn to respect and show empathy.
