Awesome infographic! I like all the misconceptions you addressed about people who are visually impaired. I think your explanation of the STAR model could've been a bit more clearly/concisely said but your overall message and role was still clear. I'm a little confused by your capstone question, is it in comparison to their white counterparts or the affect on black communities independent from other information?

I like how you clarified in the beginning the misconceptions of blindness and the possible ranges of vision. I think your STAR example was very interesting and it is something I did not think about! I like that you had an infographic and it was easier to understand as you walked us through it. I love that you presented and acted out a guide on how to help a presumably blind person! Really amazing. I think your capstone questions is really interesting. Your presentation was very interactive.

Rebecca, I appreciate how you addressed a common misconception regarding the blind and visually impaired - that most of this population can still see to some extent! The way you described your client and STAR example sounded very personally important to both you and her - arranging surprises and paying tuition can certainly be stressful/confusing to do alone, so I am glad you were there to guide her through all of that! I also enjoyed your interactive demonstration of sighted guide - it was a unique touch to the typical PowerPoint presentation! Your presentation was a bit difficult to follow, as your voice was a bit too soft and low at times. Parts of your literature review sounded too generalized (ex: African Americans experience more chronic pain?), but your Conclusion slide helps clarify that your findings should be interpreted with caution. I like how you wrapped up your presentation with calming meditation!

I like that you described not just what your site does, but how it really impacts the lives of people who use it--the examples you used were great. The infographic looks great, you brought up a lot of points I had not thought about before. Your interactive example was a good addition!

I think your STAR page was great, and your detail was awesome. Your infographic was also great! Nice work.

Did you make the demographic infograph? If so, impressive aesthetic and layout work. I appreciate your demonstration, it seems like there is a lot to remember, consider, and be careful of in your experience with your client. Sharing the information that you find interesting kept my attention and taught me a lot. You were very clear about the importance of studying your target population. Do you have any idea about how/where to target more lower income/lower education populations for mindfulness studies? You said "they" a lot when referring to the people your practicum site serves. I don't know if there's actually anything wrong with that, and I've been having trouble feeling like i'm overusing "individuals with lower limb amputations" in my capstone and am looking for alternatives as well.

I liked that you emphasized the individuality of people with visual impairments. Mentioning the range of visual impairment, the range of daily occupations of people who are visually impaired, and their status as a friend and a family member. It was a great reminder that it is not only important to assist people with bathing and brushing their teeth, but with enjoyable activities and purchasing gifts for friends. All of the info you provided were points that I would not necessarily consider, such as insurance and guide dog usage, but are really important. This info was practical, and I loved the practical advice you provided in case someone were to encounter a person with a visual impairment. Communication is key! Informational and appealing infographic page. Interesting and detailed Capstone proposal, the model of acceptance was super interesting. I really liked both of the demonstrations you did (guiding a person who is visually impaired and meditation).

Easy to understand the message, I honestly no clue the amount of visually impaired people there were in the U.S. Also very cool demonstration, is this universal? The task portion of your star could have used a little more resume language, but overall good. Did you ever look at a correlation between job type and lower back pain?
