Flipgrid is a video filming app and is a great tool to use for class discussions (speaking and discussion tool). To join, students enter a code given to them by the teacher. When they have entered the class page, they can follow the posted directions and start filming. Once their video is posted, they can view there classmate's videos!

Kahoot is an awesome game for reviewing vocabulary, concepts, math problems, and more! Once the teacher creates their set, the students join by a code and enter a nickname. The teacher then starts the game and controls the amount of time given for each question.

Tophat is a great tool for assigning homework, presenting lectures, taking attendance, and asking in-class questions that keep the students engaged (audience response tool). Once you create your class, students can search your name and the course on Tophat and join the class. To join the lecture during class time, students enter a 4-digit code on their computers which also takes their attendance.

Miro is a great tool for class discussions (collaboration and project management category). It is pretty much a white board that students can add there ideas to simultaneously. Like a discussion board but more fun! Students can also insert pictures, attach files and embed videos to grow the discussion board. The teacher creates the board and sends students the team invite link so they can join!

When you open the website, you can either record or insert a pre-recorded file. To record, you first give your episode a title and a little bit of what its about and then you start recording!
