My Action Research for my CAGS in Ed Leadership was based on best practices in remote learning because I was living that reality day-to-day. I learned so much about ways to support teachers as they developed virtual classrooms to support students, but I wasn't able to try out as many tech apps and gadgets as I wanted. I'm hopeful that by utilizing the tools that are embedded in this course (Flipgrid, Nearpod, Jamboard, Playposit, etc.), I'll be able to apply what I've learned to my teaching practice so that I can create a virtual classroom that will benefit my Gifted & Talented students whether we're remote or in-person.

I was very happy to see in the course description much time allowed for participants collaboration in form of reflections on the past year, sharing experience, and commenting on each other work. Teaching in general is paradoxically a lonely profession meaning that while teachers spend a lot of time among our students, finding time to work with one's colleagues is always a challenge. This past year it was even more evident. As the year was very precisely called "crisis teaching" we all had to find our own way to adjust to ever-changing situation and to reinvent our teaching. I hope that in this course we will have plenty of time to "talk" among colleagues and to learn from common experience.
I think I have 2 goals for this course:
1. To reflect on my own work form last year to figure out what worked and what could be done better.
2. To learn from my peers approaches, methods, and techniques that worked for them, and to be able to use this new ways in my own teaching.

I find inspiration and ideas everywhere. Taking classes like this keeps me in my student’s shoes and current. I have already taken alway numerous notes, ideas and suggestions for my own reflection and pedagogy. The use of technology is not going away and I hope to find better ways to integrate it into my classroom, and possible leadership and later administrative roles.
