First reconise what it is and that description has a function to begin a topic, but then you need to ask fundamental questions of the topic to show that you have evaluated it and your writing should show that evaluation in your words drawn from theories, speculations that are informed and not just wild guesses. A common feature of good analytical writing are words like 'however', 'whereas', ' on the one hand' 'due to' 'as a result of' as these connecting phrases show an application of complexity so if you have not used many of these phrases, it might be a sign that your writing is not analytical enough.

Your guiding principle should be not how many but how relevant they are to the point, how well have they been integrated and utilised. Having said that, the expectation at MBA level is high and your reading lists are comprehensive for that reason. Reading some of the selected articles and books will give you an idea what is expected. It also depends on the sections, but a good number is expected provided they are well explained and used, not just for the sake of upping the number. Too few would also not be a good idea. Am for more but make them useful.

It should be done however you present it. Generally it is done in a chronological format from oldest sources to most recent, but it can be divided themes and categories so you can jump back and forth in the timeline if needed, But it must be clear it is a 'review' so there must be analysis of the sources, not just listing of them. They are evaluated in relation to the research question.

This is a challenge not only of your command of words and expression but also of your awareness of what the reader needs to know. That is.. not too much, not too little, just enough to get a sense of the whole and of the relevant details. That is the skill of writing so it takes practice.

Input equals output so as long as you understand its limitations, you can use it. Manual checking is still advised and LCF cannot approve any external app, so if there are any errors because of it, it is your own responsibility. Learn to manually self edit and that will help too.
