         <description><![CDATA[<div>What went well? I feel my dept. increased usage of the program and participation in the contests gave students incentive to really focus on the lessons.&nbsp;<br><br>Things to do differently.....continue to work on infusing the program seamlessly in class so that it doesn't appear isolated and hopefully get our critical thinking (advanced) classes on Achieve3000. Also, build the whole group instructional practices.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The students enjoyed working on the program and were excited to see their lexile levels improve. I think it helped to show them the graphic organizer you have that gives them the opportunity to write their lexile level after the Level Set test and then compare it to the Career part of the program. They were able to see from the start where they fell in reading and where they needed to be. I think this helped the buy in to the program.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The students really enjoyed watching their points increase, they loved the "shields" and bonus points that would pop-up every now and then. I also would link article topics to whatever story we were reading that week to make the Achieve sessions more meaningful.&nbsp;<br><br>I also found it very easy to include the Achieve grade into Gradebook.&nbsp;<br><br>I had a student who did not speak any English, and she was able to read in Spanish.<br><br>For this coming school year, I would place a greater emphasis on the Thought Question, which was not completed as it should have been this past year.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Doing Reading Activities with my ESOL classes.<br>I plan to use Achieve 3000 in my ESOL classes and I hope it works well with them. My overall plan is to start using it midway through 1st semester to see how it works with my ESOL Students.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Achieve 3000 provided an interesting way for my students to practice and retain a wider range of literacy concepts. My ESOL students enjoyed working with the program, and had the most learning gains out of all of my classes.  I would like to know how to integrate the lessons into my writing standards, and provide meaningful activities to benefit the students in language arts. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>I am constantly looking for new resources to use with my classes, especially w/ my ESOL students. After the morning sessions I can see myself using this in my classroom at least once a week and assign homework that the students can do during the school week and the weekend. I will try to find a science article that is related to the topic that we are covering in class.</div>]]></description>
