         <description><![CDATA[<div>Web design refers to the design of websites that are displayed on the internet. It usually refers to the user experience aspects of website development rather than software development. Web design used to be focused on designing websites for desktop browsers; however, since the mid-2010s, design for mobile and tablet browsers has become ever-increasingly important.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Web design</strong> encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Website">websites</a>. The different areas of web design include web graphic design; <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interface_design">interface design</a>; authoring, including standardised code and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proprietary_software">proprietary software</a>; <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_experience_design">user experience design</a>; and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization">search engine optimization</a>. Often many individuals will work in teams covering different aspects of the design process, although some designers will cover them all.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_design#cite_note-different_jobs-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a> The term web design is normally used to describe the design process relating to the front-end (client side) design of a website including writing <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markup_language">markup</a>. Web design partially overlaps <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_engineering">web engineering</a> in the broader scope of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_development">web development</a>. Web designers are expected to have an awareness of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_usability">usability</a> and if their role involves creating markup then they are also expected to be up to date with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_accessibility">web accessibility</a> guidelines.</div>]]></description>
