This era is called the Weinmar Republic. The leader of the Weinmar republic was a man named Friedrich Ebert. He was less focused on the military side unlike the previous Kaiser. However many people we very cross with Ebert. As he and his constituents signed the Treaty of Versailles that made mockery of what was once a very proud country people called the Weinmar the "November criminals" and believed that they had sold them down the river.
