I am in the band with Alva, Qianyu, Saniya and Mikayla. We decided to make up the name of the band from the first letters of our names. And we got “SQAMP”.

Who is playing which part?
Qianyu will be playing the part of the song with the bass guitar, Mikayla chooses normal guitar, Saniya playing the keyboard part and Alva and I will be using, because girls said that we are really good in this. And also I think that it's much easier to sing with someone because you feel more confident in yourself and do not worry so much about what you sing in front of the class.

What is the most challenging thing?
The most challenging thing, I think does not be shy and do your best.

I played the guitar for the first time and it was really fun, interesting and quite hard because you need to put your fingers really fast in the right place and make a good sound. I got a really good experience.

If you compare plying chords and plying on the guitar what will you choose and why?

The first thing where old sons differ from songs in last 10 years is that the timbre in songs has dropped drastically. 
And also in lots of pop artist using exactly the same sequences of notes.
In addition, over the past ten years, the average lyric intelligence has dropped. Lyrics are getting shorter and the same words are starting to repeat more often.

Do you agree with the statement: "Modern pop music is terrible"?
I like modern music, but also I like listening to old music too. Just sometimes I need listening to music in which the word are repeated or does not contain any meaning. I listening this kind of music when I dong my homework or when I try to fall asleep. So, I just want that the music just play in the background and not distract me when I trying to do something. 
So, in my opinion modern music are not terrible and I think that sometimes this kind of "stupid and not serious" music is quiet needed in our life.

What feedback did you receive?
Our group was advised to work on timing because we sound a bit out of bit since no one was focused on their part and that's why everyone got out of bit, and also we were told to work on the ending because it sounded really weird.

What will you try to improve?
We will try to improve timing and when Alva and me need to start and finish our part. We improved timing and singing.

What feedback did you receive?
We received the same feedbacks as at the last time but some people said that we start sound much better but we failed in ending which we practised a lot.

What were the challenges of this task? Were they the same as those you expected at the beginning? 
Yes, I think it was the same challenges as I expected at the beginning. I think singing is the hardest part of a song because it's hard to sing in a microphone in front of a class and do not worry about how you sound and it's especially difficult when you sing with a partner and you need to figure out who will sing low and who will sing high. It was still difficult enough not to overlap each other and try to sound harmonious as Alva had a high enough and loud voice and I had a low voice and after I listened to the recording audio I realised that at some moments I cant hear myself, although we were singing in a microphone.
