As a young girl, I went to Littlest Angels for preschool through kindergarten. After that I moved on to Union Valley Elementary school where I feel like I hit a turning point in my life. In my 5th grade year, I had a teacher named Mr. Connor. I failed the first part of the year, but he didn't give up on me. He pushed me to get good grades and to become the person I am today. Ever since I haven't gotten below a high B for my final marking period grade. I thank him for pushing me to my fullest potential and without him I wouldn't be in the place I am in today. Continuing on I moved into Ann A. Mullen middle school were I hit a lot of hardships with my friends. Now I am a sophomore in high school and cannot believe how fast time went.

Throughout my whole life I loved sports; watching them or playing them. I am usually not the best player on the team, but I continue to try to improve and have fun while playing. The two main sports that I play are softball and volleyball. I play volleyball and softball for Timber Creek, but I also play softball out of school for Gloucester Township.

On April 7, 2017 my grandfather passed away from stage four lung cancer. Finding out he had cancer, devastated me because I wasn't as close with him and didn't call him as much as I should have. We didn't get to see him that often because he lived in the farther part of Philadelphia. Because I was known as the baker in the family, the few times that we went to go see him he asked me to bake him a chocolate cake with a delicious chocolate frosting. Before I ever got to bake him the chocolate cake, he passed away. When I found out that he passed away, it filled me with so much shame and regret that I wasn't there for him and I didn't do the one thing he wanted the most from me. To this day I still feel guilt for not being there more and not being able to have him taste a cake that I made for him, but it taught me to be selfless and to never hold back from doing things/saying things because life is unpredictable.
