However, in this very poster the blacks have been surrounded by the white color which suggests how white has automatically been symbolized as the color of the good and black as the color of evil, by surrounding the blacks with white color and the whites (pigs) in black

The texture of the poster looks rugged and coarse, suggesting that the mission to "seize the time" was not very easy and not clean as such, it got "dirty" on some occasions.

This damage can be seen throughout the whole image as small black marks. It could symbolize a greater need to act on an opportunity given.
Another visually distinct feature is the man in the pink suit and the lady holding the pink gun. This shows how even the man (who appears to be wearing aristocratic clothing) is revolting and shooting against the "pigs" that represent the white people.  It can be assumed that the pink represents a higher level of wealth. 
Also seen in the image is the fact that children are also fighting alongside the adults, showing that they understand the situation enough to realize that they must revolt against the people who oppress them.
Towards the right side of the image, there is the "pigs" who are being chased away, and what appears to be straight lines could be interpreted as the path of the bullets that are aimed towards them. The pink lines show that bullets fired from high caliber guns (such as the pink revolver). The black people on the white background and the white "pigs" on the black background shows that the roles have reversed and that the black people will eventually kill each and every person they have been oppressed by, and eventually attain freedom.

The fact that the artwork shows both old and young holding guns and knives shows the sheer amount of pain the whites had inflicting onto each and every black person at that time regardless of age.

the slogan that was used as a part of the retaliation is slowly smudging may be representing them slowly taking action against it. there are also various smudges around the image (being proactive about their slogan -ink smudge) which represents the carnage. 
even kids can be seen taking part in the movement which shows the extent to which there is discrimination. 
the 'white' pigs in the dark (evil) background running out of frame. symbolizing that hopefully, the segregation (thick lines of black and white) of whites from blacks would go away.

- they are using various weapons to attack, this shows how prepared they are to fight

- there is the use of those ray lines, making the blacks the sun and the pigs running away area the rays areas.

- the background seems to look a bit messy with scribbled lines of different sizes, portraying chaos and disruption.

- the expressions of the blacks and the pigs are contrasting. the blacks seem to look more angry and passionate to send the pigs away or to fight them. whereas the pigs look unprepared and scared and look like they are in a lot of pain, as the teardrops are shown.

The blacks are surrounded with a white background and the pigs are surrounded with a black background which evidently creates a contrast and might also imply that after getting rid of all the pigs (metaphorically) they will have a bright, respectful and a contented future ahead of them whereas the pigs will have darkness surrounding them always. The concept of leading lines and focus can also be observed in this picture as the black lines lead to the main focus of this picture which is "sieze the time". Bobby Seale wrote a book called Seize the Time about the black Panther party, and it is a sort of biography detailing all the wrongdoings and opression the black people faced during that particular time period. Further, we can also see kids holding guns, which might represent the certainty of everyone fighting for their lives and their freedom.

- there are rays of light radiating from the blacks' side towards the pigs' side and the pigs are shown running away from them conveying that they cannot handle the truth and want to remain in the darkness.
-the poster is shown to be in overall shabby and rugged texture, representing the state of black after all these years of oppression.
- the black people people are shown as aggressive and are revolting against the white-washed government using a myriad of weapons and from all walks of life. and the sign says that they wish to kill the oppressors. the mention of "the people" in the "the people will kill them all" not only conveys that the black community is united but also that they are indicating that they are no different from the rest and equally the people of the world.

At first glance, it is evident that there is a partition: the blacks and the whites. However, what is interesting is that the blacks are shown against a white background and the whites against a black one. It can also be seen that the blacks are enraged and ready for war as they carry guns, knives and other weapons. The whites, on the other hand, are depicted as pigs which is a common symbolic reference used by Emory Doughlas. The use of lines almost makes it looks like the pigs are on a racetrack and are trying to run away. The successful usage of artistic features depict the movement of the pigs clearly showing that they are running away from the Blacks. One of the pigs is on the floors, presumably dead, while the other pigs have tears running down their faces showing that they are now scared, pained and hurt. 

On the side of the now powerful Blacks we can see the calculated decision of representing men, women and children. The thought of a child on a battle field is absolutely shocking. Moreover, the faces of the children are filled with determination while they stomp their way into the battle. The children are also carrying guns and this is a clear depiction of how even the Black children want justice after all that they have been through at such a young age.

On the side of the raging blacks, there are a multiple black smudges and accents. One might easily misinterpret is as a mistake but the deliberate choice of besmirching the paper could be symbolic of all the struggles, pain and plight that the blacks have gone through. It could also be symbolic of how messy the war has become and how it could be avoided altogether if the Whites changed their outlook and were more accepting. 

The three predominant colours in this poster are white, black and pale pink. The colour black often has negative and dangerous connotations while white is a symbol of peace and power. The Blacks have finally moved to the side of power but they are urged to stat a war because of the mistreatment they have endured for years. Pale pink is a soothing colour and it might be symbolic of the silver lining that the Black community has finally found.

The slogan ' Seize the time' sits the centre of the poster. The slogan has appeared in other works of Emory Douglas and thus can possible mean that this was a movement. In literal terms, the slogan means to make use of the current time but this slogan is clearly deeply rooted in the history of the Black Community and of all the time in the past they have suffered. Therefore the slogan not only talks about the present, but also about the difficult past and hopeful future of the Black community.

- the different splatters and scribbles of black along with the brown tinted paper give the idea of freezeframe. This goes hand in hand with the slogan "seize the time" as it looks like a piece, pictured from an actual fight/ dispute. This helps show that the possibility of a bright future is indeed a reality that they can fight towards.
- the lines used for the black space give the illusion of bars in a jail or even a portal that alters time and dimension. While this suggests victory over the "pigs" or whites, it is not permanent and can open up again in the future. But the defeat of the pigs is effectively evident in the spreading of the pigs in the 3 directions outward from the centre of those "bars"
- while the placement of pink may seem random at first sight, it draws ones attention to the different objects from the left to right to add meaning to the total flow of the poster. It looks black people are asking for their rights by using force. Black men wearing red clothes can represent stained blood while fighting against pigs.

It looks like, Pigs are running away from that area, and they are looking scared to fight against black people. As the picture shows, some pigs are lying on the ground, which indicates that black people are actually shooting guns at pigs, not just pointing to scare them.
