For me, international-mindless means to be connected to other people, counties and cultures. To be outside of the shell. Understanding that we are all the parts of one big system (in a positive interpretation of this word)

What does it means to be a "global citizen"?

For me, being global citizen means to be a citizen of the planet Earth. We still live in different countries, borders separate us, but I believe, that we need to remember, that we are one big society. Instead of searching for differences, global citizens are searching for similarities. We are all human beings and we have one HOME - our planet. For modern person it is important to remember, that we are responsible for our home and people around us.

How do schools today prepare students for global citizenship within biology and other group 4 subjects?

I think that biology can teach our students to understand how different living organisms interact with each other. How communities are built. Also, the whole topic "ecology" is devoted to interactions between organisms and environment. I think such things can help our students to understand, how important each part of the system could be. I am not very well aware of other science's curriculums, but I believe, that even talking about different inventions and discoveries can help our students to better understand their culture (for instance, talking about their famous scientists)

We study a lot about famous discoveries (for instance, when we talk about DNA structure and etc.). We always mention names of the scientists. We also talk a little bit about their biography, so that is the way, how we understand that the whole society works hard for the science and for increasing the quality of our lives
