I chose to fix A La Carte but I learned there isn't much we can do. So the more effective thing would be putting in vending machines would be easier and it would give Ms.McHarris a break a few times a week. I think it's good because the school gets money either way. This stuck out to me because I am not the only one who wants better A La Carte snacks. We no longer need different companies to work with us. Because we already know how much work would be put in if we want different food companies to work with us and thanks to Michelle Obama that's even harder.
2. We know that we can't convert the A La Carte into more of a store than it already is because everything we want it's a problem to have or its not allowed.
3. When we talked to Mr.Pisano there is a possibility that this can be accomplished over the summer because they are planning things for next year right now. If we address this issue now and talk to the school board then we have a better possibility to get the changes we want.
4. I know that the first set of people we need to sell the idea too is Ms.Huff and Mr.Pisano. Because if they are on board then they can help us get the superintendent on board and the superintendent can work to make sure the whole district approves but we have to make sure that we follow all the state health regulations.
5. I'm not sure if the school will try and save money and use the old one because Mr.Pisano said he wasn't completely sure. But I know that school buys a lot of things from sams club so I checked and they have a lot of vending machines to choose from but they might try and choose a cheaper one but they all cost over $2,000. But if A La Carte hasn't caused obesity in our school then a vending machines with the same type of rules shouldn't either. Their isn't a valid reason why we shouldn't have a vending machine other than trying to stop obesity and we have a way to solve it.

If half of the students at FPMS used the vending machine it would take 9 weeks before we start making profit.
