My thoughts: This website introduces the problem of Police Brutality mainly just the killings, but has very strong possible solutions for the on going problem. A very strong argument they have, that I agree with is ending the broken window policy which basically the theory that if they come down hard on the small not as serious crimes, then the big violent crime will slowly diteriate because of them "stopping it before it starts". This is not efficient because they are harming people who are doing the little crimes because they think it will force the people who plan on doing bigger crime to fear the consequences of what might happen. Using fear to scare people out of doing the crime is not the way to go in my opinion. I also agree with the solution they have of looking at other civilized countries in the world and seeing how they deal with this problem and learn from them.

my thoughts: all three of these court cases are all cases of police brutality against African Americans. In the case of Graham and Oconnor it really shows how cops stereotype people and automatically assume they are doing something they shouldn't be based on there skin color. These cases all are cases where the officers involved didn't get any charges pressed. This is very upsetting and makes my stomach turn because of what those people went through they deserved justice.
