Today is Wednesday,is a sunny day.After the language class and the writing class,i went to the school dining hall with my friends and have the lunch.Then i asked to my Academic skills teacher Jo Kukuczka for leave because i need to go to the student centre and register.My friend took me to the student centre and taught me how to register the student’s identity card.There were too many people in the student centre and i lined up for a long time.Until 4 pm,i finished to register.Then my friend asked me to go to the sport centre of the school to play basketball.I agreed with him.This is my first time to play basketball in the UK.The students who played basketball in the sports centre were all very kind.They said hello to me and when someone shot a fantastic ball ,whether he is the opponent or a teammate,they all will clap for him.I played basketball there for about 3 hours.It’s very funny and i hope to play basketball in the sports centre every week.

  Today is Thursday,is a sunny day too.I get up later ,so in order to arrive to the class punctuality,i didn’t have any breakfast.The first lesson is language class.In the last 30 minutes,the teacher Tomasz told us to go to the library and learn something about our library.Then we went to the library and asked the librarian something about the library.She told us that we can borrow 20 books from the library and we can also borrow some DVDs CDs and laptop.If your book is returned late, you may need to pay 1 pound each day.If  someone need to borrow the book which you have borrowed,he will send an e-mail to you.The learning development office is in the corner on the second floors.The library is very quiet, we can’t speak loudly in the library, but we can take some food to the library and eat them.I borrowed a book about grammar and vocabulary,I think it is good for me

Today is Friday, is a good day because there is only one lesson in the whole day and then we will have two days for rest.In the morning ,we had the language lesson and we know how to send the e-mail to others.After class i had the lunch with my friends and then they asked me to go to Birmingham to buy something.I agreed and then we went to Birmingham by train.It’s my first time to come to Birmingham,it’s very large and busy.We went to the shopping mall and my friends found the footlocker.We went into it and they choose the basketball shoes to buy,but i didn’t choose anyone because there weren’t any shoes i like.Then we went to some other shops but i still chose nothing until 7 pm.We find a hot pot restaurant and went to have dinner.It’s very delicious so when we finished,it’s about 10pm.Then we went to the railway station.Until we got there, we found that the next train is at about 11 pm.We felt very sad,and waited for the train in the railway station for 1 hour,and then we finally came back to Northampton.

Today is a sunny day,our language teacher let us discuss about the Globalisation.We need to discuss three questions about it.

First, we needed to talk with our partners about our understanding of the Globalisation.In my opinion, globalisation is a process of interaction and integration among the people ,companies and governments of a different nations.and my partners all agree with me.And then we needed to discuss about if globalisation is a positive thing and why it is or it isn’t.I thought globalisation is not a positive thing,but my partners thought that globalisation can make us communicate with others easily and know other countries’ culture.I agree that.Finally, my teacher asked us to discuss that what impact has globalisation had in your country.We thought that globalisation will bring  soberer challenges and offer more spacious room for the development of China.Expand the global market for Chinese commodites.Advance communication and cooperation on science and technology may invite some negative cultures from abroad.I think this class help us know more about the globalisation.

So global warming is not a positive thing,we need to do something to prevent the global warming.For example,we can plant more trees and stop deforestation.Then we can develop new energy sources like solar,wind,and ocean wave.We can also use energy efficient appliances,and change people’s habits.If the global warming continues, Earth will become to die.

Today is Friday, It’s a rainy day. In this week’s language class, we learned about how to make a presentation. We discuss about some ‘Do’s’ and ‘Don’ts’ when giving a presentation. In conclusion,we need interact with audience, maintain good eye-contact and manage your stress, practise a lot（at home, break out rooms, in front of a mirror, videos yourself）. we should not read our notes, not speak too fast and not stare of participants. In addition, If we want to make a good presentation, we need to be confident, appropriate body language, speak fluently and clearly, attractive and interesting content and delivery, content : relevant, comprehensive, supporting points / argument with examples, well-structured (introduction, body, conclusion), effective presentation slides, effective presentation skills, logical coherence in your presentation. Today, we need to make a presentation, I feel some stress when I was speaking, but I try my best to do it, I will not regret.

Today is Wednesday, It’s a rainy day. In this week, we learned what is Cohesion and what isan Essay. Cohesion is the glue that holds a piece of writing together. A paragraph is not just a group of sentences, It is a group of connected sentences. Cohesion connects ideas within writing and makes the relationship clear for the reader. There are various methods that can be used to make writing more cohesive. The ‘Hook’ is the opening sentence or sentences of an essay. The purpose of the hook is to grab the reader’s attention. If a hook does its job, then the reader will want to read the rest of the essay. Writing a hook is not easy and requires a great deal of thought. However, there are a number of different methods for writing a hook in an academic essay.

Today is Thursday. In this academic class, we learned about the referencing. What is referencing? Referencing is a way of acknowledging other peoples’ ideas and work. You do this through a citation(in the text of your work) and a reference at the end of your work. The citation within the text of your work is a brief acknowledgement (Surname, Year). If you are using a direct quotation or paraphrasing a specific idea you need to also include the page number,e.g.(Surname,Year,p.12). This is so your reader can locate the specific information you are referring to without needing to read the entire work. Please note quotations are in quotation marks.
