         <description><![CDATA[<p>Despriction:&nbsp;</p><p>-Showing physical distress in physical ways.</p><p>-Signs and symptoms appear with no underlying physical cause.</p><p>-Appear after stressful event of trauma. (physical and psychological)</p><p>Etiology:</p><p>-2 theories: </p><p>The psychoanalytic theory says that unconscious conflicts cause the "conversion" of the conflict into physical symptoms. The other explanation says that the physical symptoms are a result from a disturbance in the CNS.</p><p>Symptoms:</p><p>-Deficits in voluntary motor or sensory functions that are not intentionally produced, but cannot be fully explained by a physician. </p><p>-Cannot be better explained by another disorder.</p><p>Therapy:</p><p>- Coping skills and improving social functioning.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Description: prooccupational fear of having a serious disease based on misinterrpretation of bodily sensations. Belief exists despit assurance from doctors.</p><p>Etiology: Sexual abuse, childhood illness, following parental behaviors if they had it.</p><p>Warning Signs: concearned with one particular body part or ordan such as the heart.</p><p>Outcomes: causes clinically significant distress or impairment on social, occupational, or other areas of life.</p><p>Treatment: stress reduction training, pxychological counciling, educating one's self, if any type of medicine whould be given it would be an antidepressant like selective serotonin reputake inhibitors. </p>]]></description>
