plants are very important to anything living. Plants absorb the carbon dioxide in the oxygen we breath. Animals that live in our society also eat the plants that surround them. Basically we need the plants to survive because it allows us to breath.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pD68uxRLkM
I chose this specific video because it really broke down what photosynthesis means. Photo which means light and synthesis means putting it together. It also states that there is other nutrients included in photosynthesis like water, nutrients, and soil. It also had to include the carbon dioxide from the air. All of these fuctions help plants to produce and make their own food.

Temperate grasslands have a rising atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and air temperatures may lead to an increase in plant production, but a gradual decline in soil carbon and nitrogen. This biome faces various environmental threats, namely drought, fire, and conversion to farmlands by humans. Drought is an environmental problem to temperate grasslands due to the climate of the biome.Temperate grasslands are characterized as having grasses as the dominant vegetation. Trees and large shrubs are absent.

The Neolithic Revolution, also called the Agricultural Revolution, marked the transition in human history from small, nomadic bands of hunter-gatherers to larger, agricultural settlements and early civilization. The Neolithic Revolution started around 10,000 B.C. in the Fertile Crescent, a boomerang-shaped region of the Middle East where humans first took up farming. Shortly after, Stone Age humans in other parts of the world also began to practice agriculture. Civilizations and cities grew out of the innovations of the Neolithic Revolution.

They include many drugs morphine, quinine and poisons atropine, strychnine.
This group is comprised of a wide variety of plants that contain nitrogen-bearing molecules that make them very active. Many of these plants have been used to create well-known drugs used for medicinal purposes. One such example, vincristine, which was derived from the Madagascar periwinkle , is used to treat some types of cancer.
