Romans first started to do art in 500 bc, and they were influenced by Greek art in 100 bc. According to Quatr.com, the Romans took spectacular Greek artists on ships to create art for Rome, they mostly took the people to be their slaves. They were also influenced by the fancy curves in front of many  Roman and Greek sculptures.

The form of government that was used in Rome was much different than any other form of ancient government. The Romans used a system very similar to the one in America. The Romans had the citizens vote for their leaders and had three branches of government

In ancient civilizations women we treated very different than Men, but in Rome, things were different. In Rome, women were allowed to own property, have political influence, and own businesses. If I was able to choose which ancient civilization to live in, I would most definitely choose Rome.

I see an example of the Roman government in America today because just like the ancient Romans, we have three branches of government and choose our leader by voting.  We also have a law that states that everyone is innocent until they are proven guilty. Another similarity I see in America today is the aqueducts. The California aqueduct is very similar to the aqueducts that were built in ancient Rome.  I also notice that our roads are also paved over just like Rome's roads. However, our roads are not paved with pebbles, stones, and concrete, but they are paved with asphalt.
