Creating such a scene caused chaos among the community and allowed so much hatred between races rise. In all the time this case was dragged along, I feel she was forgotten. Not that the five boys were not victims, but the TRUE victim was in a coma and when she came out of it, had to learn to walk again. Not one piece. This case was dragged out over two years and ended with prison sentences for all five boys. How was this even possible? Was our community in that courtroom that stupid?
