         <description><![CDATA[<div>Key Findings from research on the PYP<br>-A school in California did research stating that parental involvement, school connectedness, and meaningful participation are ways that the school climate change during the school year.<br>-many practices in Australia that promoted a student's well-being helped received better academic progress throughout the year.<br>-The PYP in Australia (cont.) contributed to student learning and academic achievement.<br>-In Colombia, students felt teachers were the driving force in the PYP content, and had a sense of motivation throughout the school year<br>-In other countries, Austria, New Zealand, and Italy to name a few, IB values were a building block to sucess.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>PYP Key Findings: (research from 14 countries)<br>* most participants reported increased attention to social-emotional learning and whole child.&nbsp;<br>*PYP vs similar non-PYP; schools offered substantial evidence that student wellbeing was above and beyond other wellbeing activities because of PYP curriculum and student wellbeing activities and practices.<br>* IB's Learning and Teaching Guide was considered exceptional.<br>* schools performed at higher level in reading and numeracy.<br>* Schools had a holistic and ongoing approach to to assessments.<br>* In regards to the exhibition; participants believed it helped students' critical thinking, international-mindedness, and LP attributes.<br>* The student perception was that they viewed teachers as primary drivers of positive leering experiences. Many enjoyed their school (83%) and 90% of the students were proud pf their school.<br>* Staff survey and interviews showed PYP coordinator and admin exhibited firm and passionate commitment to IB values and generally reflected qualities of the LP.<br><br>So glad to be in IB!!!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>PYP Key Finding:<br>in the United States(California).&nbsp;<br>Participants at every school reported increased attention to<br>social-emotional learning and the whole child, as well as greater<br>use of transdisciplinary instruction and teacher collaboration<br>due to the PYP.<br><br>&nbsp;In Australia, schools offered substantial evidence that the PYP encourages<br>student well-being above and beyond other well-being activities<br>undertaken by schools<br><br>- A study in Australia explored the impacts of PYP<br>implementation on 13 Victorian government primary schools<br>as well as student outcomes on a national assessment for<br>reading and numeracy1<br>. Students at PYP government schools<br>performed at higher levels in both reading and numeracy, for<br>years 3 and 5, when compared to similar schools and Australian<br>schools generally. Additionally, school staff believed that the PYP<br>had contributed to student learning, academic achievement,<br>development of learner profile attributes and motivation&nbsp;<br><br>IN (China, Kenya,<br>Mexico, Russia and the United Kingdom) to understand the<br>impacts of the PYP exhibition,&nbsp; the study found overwhelming support from parents,<br>students and teachers for the exhibition as an activity, and a deep<br>conviction that this was not only a good use of curriculum time,<br>but also the pinnacle of PYP achievement.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
