1) Islamic Republic of Pakistan is it's full, proper name. The government has 3 branches of government, the same 3 that the US has. Pakistan also has a Supreme Court, and a President.
2) The population of Pakistan is 207,862,518 as of 2018. Being that the US has around 325,000,000 people, people living in Pakistan live in much smaller living spaces, being that Pakistan is only around double the size of California.

-In Pakistan, natural disasters happen frequently such as earthquakes and floods. This is important because it negatively impacts Pakistan and its economic struggles. For example, an earthquake in 2005 killed approximately 75,000 people, and it created a mess within the environment with trash, broken vehicles, and many buildings collapsed! Due to the devastating earthquake, Pakistan would have to pay more money to clean and fix all of the problems. Compared to the U.S., Pakistan struggles with many more natural disasters.

- In addition, compared to U.S.A., Pakistan has a variety of different regions. For example, they have snowy mountain tops, plateau's and specifically the Balochistan Plateau, and lastly Arid deserts. These varying regions make it harder for people to survive due to struggling with the extreme temperatures, difficulty in navigating across the land, and possessing the right resources for successful agriculture.

1) Many children in Pakistan are too poor to continue to go to school, or drop out at an early age. This is different from the US due to the fact that education is one of the most important factors in an American child's life. Here, for at least 9 years kids are required to go to school.

2) At the universities in Pakistan, both men and women are accepted. This is interesting when looking at Malala's story. Her mother isn't able to read the prices at the market, and Malala states how women do not have the same rights as men yet both genders are able to go to the universities together.

-Some children in Pakistan have to work up to 20 hours in 1 day. First of all, in Pakistan, children have to work, but in the U.S., children can't work. Furthermore, the children can work up to 20 hours in a factory, but they are just kids! They have too much work put on them at such a young age. Compared to Pakistan, kids can not work in the U.S. until they are 16 years old.

-Although cricket is the most popular sport, field hockey is another beloved sport, and it is the only sport that can compare to the popularity of cricket. Pakistan's field hockey team has even won the World Cup and Olympic Championships because of their passion and hard work.
