well everything have a cause or it is caused by something, so in the civil war have a cause, and is that many people did not want that the many African Americans were in slavery, some did want that it continues. but my answer is that the civil war have a cause and the fight in the civil war did worth. it is like the real life, you see something that is unfair and you did not want it and you fight for fix it.

 in simple words: (the civil war was caused by a conflict that did people did not concluded, or something bad that some did want to fix it and some not.)
