This is when WMCC's courses are offered on the high school campus by the high school teachers. Courses cost $150 and books are included. Students can use the STEM/CTE  scholarship for up to two Running Start courses per academic year. 

Early College is when high school students take college courses on the WMCC campus or online and they are taught by college professors. The cost of these courses depend on the number of credits. However, as an Early College student, you receive a 50% discount on tuition. At the Early College rate, a 3 credit course costs $322.50 and a 4 credit course costs $430. Students are able to use the STEM/CTE scholarship for these courses as well. Again, students only have two scholarships per academic year, so they should plan accordingly.
