“Camera obscura” is the Latin for "dark chamber." It is the name given to a simple device used to produce images.
It was developed by the Muslim Arab scholar, Ibn Al-Haytham. This lead to the invention of photography. That was
in the eleventh century. In 1826, the French inventor, Joseph Niépce took the first photograph. He used a polished metal plate and an oil called bitumen, which reacts to light. After this, photographic technology developed quickly,
and taking and developing pictures became cheaper and easier. Photography studios began to pop up in urban areas, and “photographer” became a real profession. In 1900, George Eastman invented the Brownie camera, a small, portable camera that was easy to use. Before its
invention, photography was done by professionals. Now, anyone can take a photo. Though colour photography was invented in the late 1800s, colour film was not used until the 1950s. The digital
camera was invented in 1975, and digital cameras were sold in 1990. Today, more digital cameras are sold than traditional film cameras.

We will imagine their dialogue as they planned a trip to Ajloun, but first, let’s agree on some dialogue rules before we begin.
● Use quotation marks before and after the speaker’s exact words.
Tala admitted, “I ate the last piece of candy.”
● Use a comma to separate the speaker from the quote.
Faris stated, “I love my new puppy.”
● When a dialogue ends with a period, question mark, or exclamation point, put these inside the quotation marks.
“Can we have spaghetti for dinner?” Al-Anoud asked.
● Start a new paragraph when switching speakers.
