If I WAS ALIVE THEN, I most likely would not have survived the Dust Bowl. Most likely, I would always where a mask everywhere I went, and where some eye protection, that way I wouldn't go blind if to much dust got into my eyes. This is like what the article says "The land, it's upside down."
