The interview depicts the urgency of new technology to help with the sorting, packaging and shipping thousand and thousands of orders this amazon plant acquires on Cyber Monday. Amazon has recently acquired its own logistics department, and a robotic company; Kiva: which has enabled them to,  store the inventory is a more condensed manner and to pick inventory at a faster rate. This all proves relevant because these advances in technology have greatly impacted the company and given them a competitive edge compared to other online retailers around the world. In order for other companies to compete with amazon now they will have to update the logistics and technology company wide; this is Globalization.

One day I imagine all parcel shipping, including personal parcels will be available through this method . Globalization is a leading factor into the push for faster/cheaper shipping methods. Shipping by drone would enable us to bypass traffic that may slow down tractor trailers, or delivery trucks, while allowing users to reap the benefits of saving fuel ( both economically and environmentally). Psychologically we have seen globalization, if you had to slaughter an animal and prepare meats every tie you wanted to eat a meat, you would not e eating it all of the time. Democratically we have moved away from conscription, and the catholic church is more accepting to all people. Sex has even been altered from globalization due to there been a greater variety of contraceptive, allowing you to not get pregnant. A positive point that i found, was that due to a large amount of poverty, world leaders come together to meet and change policies to try and boost to struggling economies is underdeveloped countries through things like micro-investing. A negative point that i have found throughout numerous CrashCourse videos is that globalization is destroying the environment, from products being cheaper, more accessible, more wealthy people, and the the amount of resources being used (fossil fuels,water).
