We'd like to connect with others interested in architecture and urban design projects where there are opportunities to support a kind/vital futures from contexts with low formal oppotunities and high injustice.

Our way of working welcomes newcomers, focuses on shared stewardship in design, and relies on a network of relationships to create opportunity for collaborations between academics and youth-aged designers; projects proposed by community members were researched by design teams and their work was refined through community charrette, professional critique and peer review.

I would be interested in joining a symposium on polarization. I plan to submit an abstract for a mixed methods (representative survey + about 30 follow-up interviews) paper focusing on affective polarization in climate policy support. It could also fit in the themes of climate policy opinions, argumentation, discourses, climate discussions... The paper will be written together with a rhetorics scholar.

Hi everyone!

I’m really interested in putting together (or joining) a symposium at IAPS 2026 around the psychology of nuclear risk and policy. My own work has been looking at the Fukushima decommissioning process – especially topics like risk perception, procedural fairness, zero-sum thinking, and social stigmatization.

Some directions I’d be keen to discuss include:

How communities perceive and negotiate radiation-related risks
Trust, fairness, and legitimacy in nuclear policy decisions
The social and psychological dynamics of stigmatization and exclusion
Comparative/global perspectives on nuclear energy and risk governance

I’d love to connect with others interested in these issues, whether from psychology, policy, or practice. It would be great to co-develop a symposium that brings together diverse perspectives.

Symposium about biodiversity, nature recovery and people.

I will propose to draw on the project RENEW https://renewbiodiversity.org.uk/ based in the UK. I would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who is carrying out research on this topic and especially from another country.

This could include such questions as perceived biodiversity, nature recovery and change over time in health related or pro-nature attitudes and behaviours, or support for nature related policies amongst others. Please get in touch if you'd like to dicuss further

I would be very keen to connect with people who are interested in organising a session on themes regarding place meanings, place attachment, place identity and/or emotional experiences in places. Personally, I will submit an abstract with a quantitative approach in the context of heritage landscapes, but it would also be interesting to combine these themes with different methods and across different contexts. I am seeking fellow researchers to join me in organizing a joint symposium on organizational neurodiversity and neuroinclusion at the upcoming IAPS 2026 conference.

The aim of the symposium is to explore how organizational environments—both physical and social—can support neurodiverse individuals and foster genuinely inclusive workplaces, eg.:

Environmental and organizational design for neuroinclusive work settings
Experiences and well-being of neurodivergent employees
Social dynamics, belonging, and identity in diverse workplaces
Interventions and policies that promote neuroinclusion

Symposium on environmentally relevant personal values

Hi everyone!

I would be very interested in a symposium on personal values. I’m currently developing a new measurement instrument to assess environmentally relevant values. Here my recent paper on the topic.

If anyone else is working on personal values—perhaps in connection with an applied topic or from the perspective of different value concepts (e.g., specific values of nature)—it would be great to connect!

Would anyone be interested to join a symposium on games for engaging diverse publics in deliberation, planning and decision-making? I'm hoping to talk about my research into climate adaptation games, drawing on deliberative democracy and social learning. The photo is from a game called The Heat Is On that I co-designed with experts and young people to explore ideas about adaptation for thriving futures in a changing climate (research paper). I'll be on a research trip from Australia and would love to meet others with intersecting interests.

We're submitting a symposium on Social Influence for Climate Action and are looking for another 1 or 2 researchers to join our symposium.

Our symposium will include research about 'everyday influencers', people who interact and have conversations with the public on a regular basis but aren’t in leadership positions. For example, hairdressers (journal article currently under review). We will also include contributions from researchers looking at climate leadership.

We are particularly keen to hear from researchers outside of our institutions or outside of the United Kingdom. If you think your work aligns with this research, we would love to hear from you!
