In my first year as a biology student, I had the opportunity to volunteer for a community outreach program at Sitio Bantic, Dalupirip, Itogon, and Benguet, which was organized by the UC College of Arts and Sciences in collaboration with the Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) of Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Our expedition to Bantic began around midnight, and we trekked for about five hours to the summit. Afterwards, we had a brunch and relaxed briefly before beginning the programs. The MOMFI members provided free surgical operations such as tuli drives, medical consultations, and more, while students from the College of Arts and Sciences held music and dance workshops at DepEd Tayo Laurencio Fianza NHS-Annex. I'm looking forward to participating in community activities in the near future to help people in need🫶🏻

August is indeed full of bliss. I spent a few days together with my family in Manila; our sole purpose was to buy personal items. The room of the hotel we stayed in had an amazing view of the airport and architectural structures.

Food, friends, and acads—that's where my life revolved in September. I survived throughout my prelims with the help of my comrades, although I am not that confident on what the results might be. One way I avoid procrastinating is to study at cafes, where I feel more productive to get my work done. Well, it’s been a rough month.
