1) I know that now, HDB flats look like this, now. And that last time they looked like this.
2) Last time flats were bigger than they are now.
3) Toilets were built outside homes long ago.
4) Long ago, houses did not have that many floors but now they can have around 15-20 floors
5) Flats are now becoming smaller in Singapore every day.
6) Facilities are better now that last time.
7) Last time, there were more trees around HDB flats. But now, you can see in other people's apartments through their windows.

I can see that houses in the present have play grounds everywhere and the houses in the present also is a lot safer than the houses in the past. The houses in the past have only one family living in it but the houses in the present have a lot of flats which each flat holds one family. The houses in the past have outdoor carparks but the houses in the present usually have indoor car parks. The houses in the parks could be made of wood but the houses in the present are made of bricks. The houses in the present are also taller than the ones in the past.

The houses in the past did not have toilets in the house so they had to exit the house and go to a small hut where they collect the water they need. However, the houses in the present have toilets and sinks which we can collect water from. The houses in the past also are packed together but the ones in the present are not packed and the ones in the past are huts. The houses in the present are flats
