Newsela - Newsela is great for learners approaching intermediacy in reading because articles have an option to adjust the reading level. Newsela is also great because the homeroom teacher can assign articles to the class. Even though they read at a different level to the ELL learner, the student is still able to read and engage with the material and feel included and able to engage in the class discussion.
