Hip Hop first emerged among African American and Latino Youth in the Bronx, north of New York City, then spread around the world, and there are many rappers in China who like hip hop also have been influenced by this culture. For example, GAI is a Chinese rapper. All his rap musics have a very strong flavor of Chinese national culture. Most of his works are performed in Chongqing dialect, I think these works show the fusion and innovation of culture very well.
